The Tried out the bottom stamp today on a larger piece. Two tests. One when the cement was still pretty wet, the other when it had firmed up a bit. Both worked, though the second one came out cleaner. Not a surprise, but good to see in practice.
This is one of those things that should make things easier moving forward. The marks are sharp, consistent, and don't require any extra handling while the concrete sets. Just press the stamp in, wait for the right time, and pull it out. Done.
It's a small detail, but these little improvements add up. If it makes the process smoother and gives a better result, it's worth doing. Going to run a few more tests, but so far, it's looking like this is the way to go.
